I played some of 1 but I didn't like it. My dad used to love it but he also loved Kingpin and Railroad Tycoon.

Yup, and skeletons, and demons, and wizards, and witches, and barbarians, and archers, and zombies, and monsters!

  7. #7
Not that I've found but then I've not really played with it since Sept / Oct so who knows what's happened since, I don't want to re-install it as that makes waiting for release *so* much more exciting!

  8. #8
I really should play this to see if I like it.

  9. #9
The beta reminds me a lot of Torchlight and makes me want Torchlight 2 more. It also runs like hell on my iMac, so fingers crossed for some performance tweaks. Otherwise I might just wait out a console release and hope it has decent multiplayer support that doesn't have the crippling defects we've seen in far too many console RPGs.

The Beta didn't hook me, it's really a game I need to play with the wife.

Unless I get a new PC in the near future I won't be getting this. My PC just doesn't run it that well. Well, it runs ok, but there's a bunch of artifacting and it bothers me.

Is this game worth it? I'm tempted to pick it up this week but I've never played any of the other titles.

Probabaly a RIDICULOUS question...Doe's it have multiplayer support? (Don't destroy me with your answers, I only use my incredible gaming laptop for Minecraft...shame)

I wasn't too interested in it either, but I really enjoyed the beta. And yes, it has multiplayer. I know there's co-op, and I believe there's PVP, but that wasn't in the beta.

Thanks for the heads up. Might check out some gameplay and see how i feel then. I can get it for Ł15 from work so I might just take the gamble and pick it up.

Did you ever play Torchlight? It's almost identical, but not as cartoony. Its a dungeon crawler loot fest. It's actually a similar concept to Borderlands, but not first person.

Funny i was getting a borderlands vibe, in MP how do you share the gold?is it a case of whoever grabs it first? Also how do invite other to your game?

You don't share any loot. When you pick up gold/loot it doesn't disappear on my screen, I get to pick it up too.

As for inviting others, you can make a party or they can just hop in whenever they want. Unless you make the game public that will be limited to your friends list.

Going to pick this up from work today and give it a go. It seems to be everything I like about games so I think I'll take the plunge.

Plus, I like the idea of being able to drop Into friends games and vice versa.

Another thing. Is anyone experiencing any slow down in game?

I've jut beaten the skeleton king and did the quest about the sword shard but in the fields of misery I'm experiencing terrible slow down at times. It's as if everything I do is delayed by a second.

It can't be my computer specs as I have more than enough to play on the highest settings.

Like a new game plus? Yes, once you beat the game you can immediately start a new one with the same character.

I'm about to enter Act 2, does this mean I can't revisit anywhere from Act 1 now?

On the main screen there is a change quest button. I don't know why you'd want to go back, but you are able to if you want.

Most definitely. Provided the item will have better stats than your currently equipped items.

Web you craft a weapon/armour it will be a magical item with 2 enchantments to start with. The more you level up your blacksmith the more enchantments and higher rated equipment you get.

    Definitely worth doing.

Some of the best loot I've had has come from crafting. It's very expensive, but worth it.

Soloing? I found out after a while that the followers are all still in New Tristam. There is no soloing (unless that hellish battle with Diablo)

I'd only done it the night before so it was fresh in my mind I've done a few of the early quests on Nightmare but not much. Moving house this weekend so no Diablo for a week or so. You can help me when I get back on

I did that when I bought the game as I already had the Templar following me from the guest pass. At least Nightmare seemed to add a few extra lines of dialogue.

Ya but even with some decent gear he isn't very useful. He dies a lot. By soloing I meant without other human players.

Anyone know what kills the yellow frogs with volcanic oozing out them? Im on knightmare level act 1 and anything glowing yellow kills me straight away im a demon hunter and all my weapons have lightening add ons

I run around a lot and have the Paladin heal me for things like that.

  79. #79
    Damm I die a lot

I didn't die once on any of the normal difficulty bosses (or night mare so far) but I do have a nasty habit of dying against hordes of ranged demons. Cleave works awesome with hordes of melee
